Georgia healthcare network works to address concerns around healthcare affordability amid uncertain financial times and high unemployment

AccessOne, a leading provider of patient financing options designed to help consumers manage their healthcare costs, today announced its partnership with Augusta University Health System (AU Health), a large healthcare network offering primary, specialty and subspecialty care across the southeast. AU Health patients now have access to flexible, longer-term payment plans, allowing them to get the care that they need regardless of their financial circumstances

A recent survey published by the Commonwealth Fund found that nearly half of Americans didn’t have stable insurance during the first half of 2020. The partnership with AccessOne allows AU Health’s uninsured and underinsured patients to choose from zero-interest and low-interest, longer-term payment plans with lower monthly payments that meet their financial needs.
