Recognition underscores clients’ satisfaction in AccessOne’s top-performing patient financing solutions
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Feb. 4, 2020 – AccessOne, a leading provider of patient financing solutions designed to help consumers better manage their healthcare costs, was named Category Leader for Patient Financing Services in the 2020 Best in KLAS report. AccessOne’s clients rated the solution highly, earning the company an overall top score of 94.5% in patient financing.
Not only did the report find AccessOne to be the leading vendor in overall performance for the patient financing category, but AccessOne also received “A” grades for loyalty, relationship and value. The 2020 Best in KLAS report scores are based on client feedback across six categories: culture, loyalty, operations, product, relationship and value.
“Providers and payers demand better performance, usability, and interoperability from their vendor partners every year. Category Leaders set the standard of excellence in their market segment,” said Adam Gale, president of KLAS. “Earning a Category Leader award should both excited and humble the recipients. It serves as a signal to providers that they should expect only the best from the winning vendors.”
Each year, KLAS publishes the Best in KLAS report, which ranks healthcare IT software and services vendors across numerous market segments. The KLAS Category Leader designation recognizes software and services vendors that have made a notable impact across health systems. To determine category leaders, KLAS reviews more than 30,000 interviews conducted with health systems and payers that year.
According to a 2019 survey from the Kaiser Family Foundation, workers contributed more than $6,000 toward the cost of family coverage, on average. Meanwhile, 28 percent of all covered workers with individual plans have a deductible of at least $2,000. As the financial burden on patients grows, providers are increasingly embracing affordable payment options for their patients to ensure that all patients have access to care.
“Consumers are a fast-growing payer in today’s healthcare system, and solving for affordability with expanded payment choices is critical to success,” said Mark Spinner, CEO for AccessOne. “We’re honored to be recognized by providers as the category leader for patient financing and are committed to offering solutions that give their patients access to the care they need.”
