About AccessOne
Who is AccessOne?
AccessOne is a leading provider of patient payment options designed to help patients manage their medical costs. Our payment plans are designed to take the financial fear out of healthcare, helping patients get the care they need without having to put it on a traditional credit card if they can’t pay at the time of service.
We’re proud to have a 94% patient satisfaction rate and are committed to supporting every person in making their healthcare more affordable and accessible.
How does the AccessOne program work?
AccessOne helps patients manage their healthcare costs by providing options to pay medical bills in smaller monthly payments. When enrolling in an AccessOne program, a patient is presented with multiple payment plan options ranging from no-interest* monthly payments to smaller monthly payments with interest that can be paid overtime. Which option a patient is offered depends on their balance and healthcare providers’ program. Exact terms and conditions are included in the enrollment terms and conditions.
Once an AccessOne account is activated, patients can begin making monthly payments. Our goal is to help make these payments as convenient and accessible as possible. We accept debit, credit, checks and in some cases HSA/FSA funds, and also provide an auto-pay option to ensure bills remain current.
Do patients need to qualify to be accepted into an AccessOne program?
Regardless of credit history, all patients of participating providers qualify for our program and have access to the same non-discriminatory payment terms.
Do you check credit reports?
No. Everyone is accepted into our program regardless of credit score.
Do you send patients to collections?
No. We do not report on credit activity and we never send our accounts to collections.
How are interest rates set?
AccessOne partners with healthcare organizations to provide a range of options for patients. Our healthcare provider partners are empowered to choose the payment plan options that work for their patients, giving all parties the flexibility to take the financial fear out of healthcare.
Does AccessOne accept patients who have insurance?
Yes. 90% of patients enrolled in AccessOne have insurance.
Does AccessOne send patients to collections?
No. AccessOne is built to make managing healthcare costs easier and prevent patients from the burden of expensive consumer debt. Everyone deserves choices when it comes to medical bills. That is why we never send our accounts to collections.
What information does AccessOne collect about me?
Information on data collection can be found in our privacy policies available here and here.
